It has undoubtedly been a tumultuous start to 2021. Yet, we have already witnessed a momentaneous event: President Biden’s Inauguration on the 20.01.21. Organised to perfection and clearly signalling for better times to come, the Poet Laureate Amanda Gorman was a shining star:

“For there is always light,

if only we’re brave enough to see it

If only we’re brave enough to be it”.

We undoubtedly have many more challenges to face this year, for many of us Wednesday’s events have prompted reflection and re-evaluation of what we ourselves want to achieve this year, while not all of us can become President! We can make changes for the better, when watching President Biden and Gorman it is resoundingly clear that they are both passionate about their chosen role and path.
